A Little Piece of Nature in Your Coffee Ritual
Some things are made to be used. Others are made to bring a little magic into everyday life.
This one-of-a-kind ceramic Turkish coffee pot is entirely handmade in the spirit of wabi-sabi, celebrating the natural beauty of imperfection, organic shapes, and the unique character of handmade objects.
Its softly rounded body features a cheerful little green lizard on one side and a colorful snail on the other. The long handle is made from a genuine pine branch, preserving its natural shape and rustic character. No two branches are alike, and neither are handmade ceramic pieces.
The interior is finished using a traditional Slavic milk-firing technique, an old method of treating pottery with milk rather than glaze. This gives the piece its distinctive, natural finish and reflects my love of traditional ceramic techniques.
Imagine a quiet morning, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and a handmade pot that feels as though it belongs in a little house in the woods.
Traditional Milk-Fired Interior
The unglazed, milk-treated interior is a deliberate choice based on my experience making more than twenty ceramic coffee pots from different types of clay.
In my experience, similar pots with milk-treated, unglazed interiors have performed better during coffee preparation on a gas stove than glazed versions, which developed cracks.
The ceramic body was fired at 1080°C before the natural pine branch handle was attached.
My personal experience with three other pots of this kind has been positive. However, this particular piece has not been individually tested over a flame, so its performance under direct heat cannot be guaranteed.

Care and Use
Ceramic cookware can be sensitive to sudden temperature changes. Gradual heating and cooling are essential to help reduce the risk of thermal shock.
Because this particular piece has not been individually tested over a flame, safe use on a gas stove cannot be guaranteed. The natural branch handle must be kept away from direct flame and excessive heat.
